Look Out Point

These are overdue pictures. hehe. I stole it from someone. But Not Cheryl.
It was on Deepavali. W22 braved the KL traffic and we made our way up to this place so called "mini-genting".
Look Out Point is supposed to be a tourist spot however we did not see many tourist around. More like a dating spot...
Here is an overall summary report on that place:-
Restaurant: I can't remember the name
Ambience: Quite romantic, suitable for dating.
But the place is stuffy and warm.
Food: Average, but slightly over-priced...
Scenery: Breathtaking. Nice but not v nice view to see KLCC and KL tower
Weather: Clear, but very hot. We all were sweating...
Personally, I'm a bit disappointed at the place

And they just started dating not too long... Way to go guys!

Albeit some tiny little hiccups on the way such as getting lost, cannot catch up, nearly got bang by the crazy Ampang buses, seeing a dead cat on the road(eeew, I know), knocked down some wooden pole then run into a random helmet in the middle of the road and stuff like that, we still enjoyed the fellowship and camwhore sessions there.

One could never relate that Ampang's side of KL with the glamorous side of KL(eg Pavilion, KLCC....) seriously...

On the 24th of April, Thursday...we had a dinner outing!..in celebration of Mr.Tung bday..we decided to go some place nicer than our usual bidara,5bintang, station 1, kim gary etc..yeah..we,re all sick of borsch soup and the bitter green drink!..haha..  

It had been planned to meet at 7.30pm(i booked the place for 8pm..haha)..unfortunately bday boy & co. arrived first..shucks..cher & co. suppose to have been there first as needed to get the cake ready etc..but cher and jess were actually caught up buying YJ's gift!..and cake too..we thought of something different since there was dessert and another cake would be just so "lau"..everyone might puke after such a filling meal..so cher & co.(har & mich if u're wondering)..checked out the next best thing...JELLY cake?..or AGAR-AGAR cake?..lol..the shop was at ikano basement and its pretty famous(for kids,teens)..i guess at some point people look for something different other than a normal cake!..so....we looked through all the jelly cakes and couldn't FIND a guy-ish patterned design!!..omg..then we finally saw some fruits pattern(bluish colour) and decided to buy that..hehe..and also 2 flower looking(choco & coffee)..jelly cupcakes..har and mich actually almost chose this sunshine- face happy design!..but it was just so 10-year-old-bday-party-wrong!!

So as everyone gathered at italiannies(the curve)..we started ordering food and fellowshiping..ill leave it to you guys to comment on the food, price and ambience here:

Pang: pasta no taste

Cher: best dish was the sicilian salad..others not that good..not enough salt/fragrance in the pasta..

We must start rating places..hhehe..like kiwi's korean bbq..

So after eating..the cake was brought out along with the 3 deserts we ordered and a complimentary bread & butter pudding!!...which makes it 3 puddings all together!!..along with almost all the italiannies waiters..

They then forced YJ to stand on a chair and give a speech..then we sang...We all then tried to finish the deserts..but i guess no one likes bread pudding in our cell..except aaron,har,mich and cher?..well the cappuccinno-ice cream cake desert thing was hotter in our cell lar..it was gone in 1 min..shouldn't have ordered so many bread pudding..cappuccinno cake just didn't sound so catchy,delicious or appetizing!...well..whoever reads this can order that next time..the bread pudding was too chunky and huge and towards the corner and side..DRY..there were lots of leftover for YJ to tapao..

Also not to leave out..as we ordered 3 sets for 4(appetizer,main courses,desert)(there were 13 ppl!)..we accidentally ate ya wan's clam PASTA thing when it came..thinking it was ours..sorry ya wan!..there were so many main courses that started coming that we din know which was which..i guess we forgot that she ordered too..

Overall we had a good time!..it was quite noisy though..hard to communicate..maybe it was next door..i have to say though that the waiters/staff were quite friendly and did a good job singing..compared to the fridays crew which sometimes can seem so... i-hate-my-job-and-im-forced-to-do-this, u know??oh wells..check out the photos and video to know more bout what im talking about..

We took these a loong time ago..cant remember when...at Joanna's place b4 cell while waiting..we've all changed since then..hehe..more leng chai and leng lui lar of course!..look at gor's and puiks hair!..and jon also more macho now..hehe..but i look almost the same hehe..my hair still long..maybe thinner..lols..
