Many of u probably know this story.. But I'm pretty sure many of u never seen the actual visual pictures or movie before. so heres a video of it.

See the expression of the father, see the people that are in the train. None of them knew what happened, or even know there's a caretaker for the train bridge. But a priceless sacrificed saved all their lives without them even knowing that they're saved. And by being saved, they're given a chance to continue or begin a new life.

Try to think about it, think about your friends who are like those in the train, not knowing that God sent Jesus to save us all. :)

God Bless
Gordon

Plan

Hello my lovely W22... I hope your day has been pleasant =)
This morning, Cheryl and I sort of came up with this idea that we want to go and climb Mt. Kinabalu. Its in KK, Sabah.
According to Gordon and Kevin Y., the view from the peak is breathtaking, amazingly beautiful and you'll just stand in awe of God's wonderful creation.
It will take us 2 days to reach the peak, including one night staying at some house half way up there.

Before going, we need to train up our stamina, so that we'll be able to reach the peak without facing much health problem and physical diffulties.

Apart from preparing our physical body, we need to plan for our bank account as this trip requires return air ticket, food, accomodation and miscelaneous.
As soon as we decide who is going and stuff, we'll start to save money and book air ticket. Please bear in mind that the earlier we book the ticket, the cheaper rate we can get. Also, the accomodation need super advance booking as well.
Leave your name here if you're up to this challenge!

Doing CPR to Read This Lah...

Hey people... Can't believe this blog hasn't been updated for 1 month (minus 2 days)!!!

If you want to know more about Regina, read the next post.
Her update is indeed very inspiring, especially for us who complain complain and complain all the time... We should even give praise to the Lord even for the smallest thing. Right?

Hmm... I thought of sharing this for fun, its the punishment that you guys wrote on Thursday cg.
Don't say you can't remember what you wrote... I can roughly guess who wrote what... hehe.

In no particular order:

  1. Laugh like spongebob
  2. Rap like Snoop Dog [??? drop it like its hawt?]
  3. Suck your thumb like a Baby [Spencer wrote this!!!]
  4. Calculate this in 30 sec: 37.64 x 8327 + 6 x 5 = ? If cannot calculate within 20 sec, PLZ sing an Indian song short one will do [You yourself know the answer or not?]
  5. Jump on 1 foot 20 times while turning around [this is so Pui Kar]
  6. Open the window and howl like Tarzan [Krys, you wrote this?]
  7. Write names with butt
  8. Slow romantic dance with Pui Kar(for guys) or Kevin(for girl) [this is quite good]
Thanks for the interesting suggestions. I really appreciate them =]

Praise Report! from Reg

Hey W22! How are you all doing? Hope all things are well with you.

I am unable to be with you all tonight as my grandpa just underwent a colon (large intestine) operation on Tuesday, which lasted almost 9 hours in the operation theater. I’ll be taking turns to stay overnight in the hospital to look after him. My grandpa is turning 79 years old this year, but he recovered as fast as a young man. Even the doctors said that he’s physically and mentally very fit and strong. Thank God that the operation went smoothly and it was considered successful. He’s not on morphine anymore as he does not feel any pain at all. His church members and relatives kept coming to visit and to pray for him. We really thank God for giving him a healthy body even at this age. This is truly a miracle!

On my side, I am currently on MC for a week. As some of you might know, I was involved in a car accident on valentines night (11.49pm). What happened was Loren, his siblings and I went to Puchong to send his cousins home after Saturday service. Loren said he wanted to show me some new shortcuts and asked me drive behind them. At that time, Lisa (Loren’s sister) was driving the Wira, he was sitting beside her. Along the way, there was this sharp, dark turning which had a bump right after that. Lisa emergency braked at the bump and I didn’t see her brake lights and her bumper, and thus crashed into her car. I was stunned.

We pulled over by the side and called Loren’s uncle for help. I also called my dad. My kancil’s engine radiator was leaking, and the front of the car was quite badly damaged. It had to be tolled away to the workshop. I was a bit injured due to the huge unexpected impact. My chest hit the sterring wheel and my knee had some bruises.

On Sunday morning, my dad brought us to make a police report and contact the insurance company for help. Now, both the cars are at the workshop in Batu Caves, which would take at least a month to be repaired. I’m car-less. After that I went to the emergency wad to do a quick x-ray on my chest. Thank God there were no broken ribs or bones, just damaged some of the soft tissues. I will be fully recovered by a week’s time.

As I was telling Kee Wee, accidents can still be a praise report. I really thank God for protecting me and giving me a way out by escaping serious injuries or even death. God showed me that I should put any material possessions, such as my car, above my precious life. Although I was in trauma for the past few days, but I managed to overcome it now. I’ve also made it a point to always give glory to God even in the days of trouble, for I will praise Him as long as I live.

I’m feeling much better after taking the medications. Thank you W22 for all your endless support, encouragement and prayers. I’ll be back with you all very soon. God Bless.

P/S: Sorry, no accident pictures available...

Adios!

Love, Regina :)

Blood Donation Drive

Hey Guys, as Pastor said last night during service that the blood supplies are low in the country. Therefore, CommunityCare is planning to hold a blood donation drive on the weekend of February 8 (SUN ONLY) at church, around 12pm to 4pm after service.

We need the names and IC numbers of 30 people who will be willing to donate blood in order to arrange for the Blood Bank to come to our church.

We really need your cooperation. Please text Kee Wee that you're interested to participate in the Blood Donation Drive.

Andy Steel - Today's Brilliance

Something I found over the net. Thought it'd be best shared.

One of the most thought provoking pieces of advice I received came on the form of this question – “How much money do you really need to live a great life?

Ultimately it’s not about the money! Many people have trouble understanding this and are consumed by making money to improve their standard of living; often feeling that money solves their problems; of course it helps if you have bills to pay but it won’t necessarily make you happy, financial worries can cause numerous problems however money isn’t the answer to living a successful life. I have seen orphans on the Thailand-Burmese border and also in Laos with nothing but their happiness to hold onto, I saw happy smiling faces, they didn’t have money and yet were certainly not concerned about material wealth - think about it!

Once our basic needs are met then what’s next? Does a pop star in LA really need a $7000 pair of denim jeans with gold stitching or could that pay for clean water in a village? It feels much better to know you have helped someone else less fortunate than yourself. A form of happiness that you cannot buy, sometimes it just needs your most valuable asset - time.

Here are ten simple points that I use will as a guide to remind me that often its simple actions that can make the difference;

1. Endeavour to create win-win situations, if all parties are happy then there will be no animosity going forward.

2. Don’t be consumed by greed or material wealth or a win at all costs attitude.

3. Build a team; you cannot do it alone, no matter how good you think you are (Together Everyone Achieves More).

4. Be thankful for what you have every day and appreciate the things people do for you. In times of need it will be those people that will support you.

5. You don’t have to have ‘made it’ to do a good deed or support a charity (see point 9)

6. It’s not always about profit & loss and increasing the bottom line, believe in social enterprise. The hidden benefits are often intangible but usually far outweigh the cost.

7. Find your passion and follow it - I am often asked how do you find your passion, how do you know? If you wake up every morning aiming to run at and knock down a brick wall and would do this through rain, hail and snow no matter what - then you have found your passion. If your work is your passion and you can earn money whilst living your passion then that’s a huge bonus.

8. Think about the legacy you will leave – What will people say or think about you when you’re gone?

9. We are not immortal, time is the most valuable thing you have - so spend it wisely.

10. Care for the environment, our children and grandchildren are the ones left to deal with the problems our we have created.

So if you can afford a pair of those gold stitched denims, remember this - jeans will wash and fade but memories and the feeling you get from helping others you can wear forever!
